Jerry, Mike & Peggy moved to Srebarna in September 2005 to open the

Pelican Lake Guesthouse
and the
Srebarna Birding Field Station.

Jerry worked in former existences as:
A Retail Manager, Bank Manager and
R.S.P.C.A volunteer.

She now manages Pelican Lake Guesthouse, campaigns locally to keep Srebarna Green and is a member of the Srebarna Folk Troupe!

Mike was in previous lives: A Community Care Development Manager and an outdoor events organiser.

He now runs the Srebarna Birding Field Station, is the Bulgarian Co-ordinator for Proact-Campaigns and works on a voluntary basis for various environmental groups.

Peggy was born in Andalusia sometime in early 1999. She migrated to England in 2000 and then to Srebarna in September 2005.

Peggy is our rescued, three legged Chinese Crested Powder Puff Terrier. She is as cute and friendly a dog as you are ever likely to encounter.

She now works part time protecting garden birds, our fruit trees,our vegetable plot and small vineyard from the local feline population.
